IDENTITY
My name is CloudedDaydreamer, the Wandering Storyteller of the Rainclouds...
A little bit about me: - At the time of writing this, I'm 22 years old and I've been a passionate writer for over 14-15 years.
- My biggest inspirations are music artists like NF, Logic, and twenty one pilots; and writers like Ursula K. Leguin, Janet Burroway, Stephen King, Lauren Groff, and Ernest Hemmingway.
- In case it wasn't clear, rain is actually my favorite weather! I grew up in a very rainy place, so it's ingrained itself deeply into who I am.
Why I Write:Writing is a deep part of who I am. I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. It's more than just a hobby to me, it's a passion. There's nothing in my life I'd rather do than write. It's a dream I can't give up on. It's who I am.I'm not in this for the money or fame. I'm in this because I love it. It's my dream to leave behind a legacy of inspiration, to be someone that inspires others to chase their wildest daydreams.

Pull up a chair, fellow wanderer. Let me tell you a story...
The content I write falls under the genre of "Literary Fiction", which is essentially to say that it doesn't really fall into any traditional subgenre at all. Rather, the stories focus more on the characters, their growth and development, and the overall themes at play in the story.
Furthermore, what I write is purely fueled by my thoughts, my emotions, my feelings and my experiences. Simply put, writing is my outlet. I write who I am. I write what I know, what I see, and what I don't know. The world is a cruel place. I've seen some of its darknesses, but not all of them. As such, the things I write might deal with some heavy topics. Mental health issues, trauma, abuse, and more. My work isn't for everyone. Do I hope to send a message through what I write? Yes, but that message isn't going to be fueled by whatever's popular or trending. I don't do this to push some grand message about the state of our world, or to pander to a side in politics or social issues.I write who I am. I write what I see. I write what I know. Read between the lines and you might find me hiding there.
ANONYMITY
My identity lies in ink and paper...
The pseudonym I operate under, "CloudedDaydreamer", is something that means a lot to me. I went through many ideas, many names, many phases, before I finally settled on this one. It feels like home to me. The character you see is me, or rather, an artistic rendition of me. I like to call him "Cloudy". He represents everything about my "brand" as a creator.
The origins of the name "CloudedDaydreamer" are quite simple. I've grown up in a very rainy place, so rain is a weather I'm more than familiar with and feel very connected to. But there's more to it than that. I've always had a very active imagination, and growing up I was (and still am, admittedly) quite prone to daydreaming. I was always sort of a social outcast. I never made many friends, never caught onto social cues, because my head was always in the clouds. "Clouded". Get it? It also represents the anonymity itself, "clouded" being another way to say "veiled" or "obscure".
Look, I'm not so naive as to think I can maintain perfect anonymity in a place like the internet. Maybe there will even come a day where I will willingly release my true identity. But ultimately, the reason behind it is that who I am doesn't matter. I'm not here for fame or money. I'm just a wandering storyteller with stories to tell.I hope you'll listen. Synopsis
Safety. Comfort.
How far should we chase these things?"Oddball" is the self-given name of a mask-wearing young man living a life of social isolation in the coastal town of Sepike Bay; he spends his days wasting away in his dorm room, only venturing out every now and again to do some light photography. "Oddball" is also the name of a mask-wearing young man living in the vast, cavernous dimension known only as "Limbo", where he wanders aimlessly for all eternity, shutting doors and protecting his safe place.But one day, when "Oddball" meets a strange girl in an oversized raincoat, his life in both worlds is upheaved as the things that once kept him safe become the things that try to imprison him. Hunted, cornered, and faced with new, frightening challenges and experiences, Oddball stands on the precipice of a choice that will forever change his life: take a chance on a newfound freedom, or remained trapped in his world of isolation forever.Obsessions. Fears. Anxieties.
Two worlds. Two masks. One story.
